Amazing Words by George Carlin

Message by George Carlin:

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider Freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.
We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things.
We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.

These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom.

My words below ;)

Think, what you need not what you want.

Temple of Treason

I have no reasons to defend. My creations were destroyed, my innovations abused. This world to me is a temple of treason where the evil god laughs at everyman who tries to stand alone fighting his battle through his work.

An arena, where there are no rules, no ethics, neither are emotions valued. I fight with no hope in sight. I will sacrifice my life to this god who would laugh at me as I perish. I find the world around me like a selfish hungry beast, munching on every dream I ever had.

Killing the last of the thoughts which could bring change. This world makes men tremble in fear, forces them to walk on the only said path, which may not be just, but which is comforting. Not knowing that in the end, death awaits each one of our thoughts, many make a comfortable choice for a short lived journey.

Then there are people who do not bow in front of this relentless god, who choose to fight not to serve, who choose to create not to copy, who choose to define, not to repeat. The fate of such men is sealed in the arena where they would be butchered eventually.

Hail to the brotherhood of creators, who till the last falling drop of their blood will fight against the collectivist giants. Who in spite of knowing the result continue to fight with all they have.
The day when this temple of treason comes trembling down, will be the day when the new mankind shall dawn upon us.

Journey of a Lonely Soul

I found it intriguing to know that people in general are not seekers of knowledge but wealth. Not happiness but money. Yet not realizing that these two things are not related at all.

Its worthless living a life without a rythm, a philosophy, a thought and few principles. Its immaterial what the world looks at it to be, rather it matters what your outlook is. Often such worthless creatures seek pleasure and wealth. Rather the few who live a life of principles seek happiness.

To know, be enlightened, to think and fight for what you think is right is the most courageous of all acts.

Aditri today !

Life !

When I look back to Yesteryear's, I feel there is so much that has happened in a short period of time.
I remember the good old days of riding on a Royal Enfield to Country club each weekend and try few unique shots in Tennis.

The lazy Saturday's on my couch watching cartoon shows for hours.

I remember trying to make a come back to entrepreneurship wearing my favorite suits to conferences and general discussions with fellow entrepreneurs.

Those long days when I had nothing great to do but write blog, work on my novel.

I Remember laughing out loud on a silly joke surrounded by friends (Once I fell off the chair laughing :))

Ahh... Life .. Whats this new pace of yours.. I feel lost while yet I continue to live these fast hours which burn like a piece of charcoal...Give me my liesure, give me my laughter for what you are becoming, is not me.
